March, 2013 Giving WoMN granted Oasis for Youth $12,000 for its work with suburban youth experiencing unstable housing and homelessness. “Giving WoMN is proud to partner with Oasis for Youth and support the work they are doing in our community,” said Giving WoMN President Laura Dale. “We were truly inspired by their mission and look forward to watching the organization grow with the help of our funds.”

Giving WoMN is a member-driven, pooled fund, grant-making organization. Their primary goal is to educate women about philanthropy, and through collective giving make impact grants in our community to address pressing, unmet needs. Giving WoMN makes grants in the areas of education, health and human services.

 

Oasis is thankful to Giving WoMN for their generous grant.

PARTNERSHIPS

 

Oasis for Youth is a member of Youth Moving Forward. YMF is a voice for homeless youth and youth at risk of homelessness. Together, we engage legislators, policy makers, community members, and with strong involvement from youth, we work together to ensure stability in housing, opportunities for education.

 

 

 

Oasks for Youth is a member of Youth Services Network. This is a collaboration of youth serving agencies, engaged in forstering communication and strengthening the continuum of services for youth and young adults in the Twin Cities who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.
